Mineral Water Project
India Network Foundation sponsors the construction & maintenance of Water Mineral Plants in rural Andhra Pradesh.
Clean water is becoming increasingly scarce due to pollution and the sheer demand for ground/well water. In order to prevent the spread water-borne diseases, the India Network Foundation teamed up with government of Andhra Pradesh to construct these water treatment plants in undeserved areas. These rural areas do not have any municipal water and lack in-door plumbing in many cases. Each water mineral plant produces 3000 liters of clean water per day. These clean water plants can supply enough clean water for up to 1500 people. The current cost of construction is 2 Lahks and maintanence is around 30,000 INR per year. India Network Foundation has committed to build 10 of these mineral water plants over the next three years.
